Base Salary
$126k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve scalable technology solutions for high-volume, highly available environments.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into effective architectures and applications.
- Research and validate technologies, build proofs of concept, and implement production-ready solutions.
- Improve development lifecycles through automated testing, deployment pipeline enhancements, and reliability practices.
- Apply GenAI tools to implementation, refactoring, testing, code reviews, scripting, troubleshooting, and documentation while validating results.
- Establish team practices for agentic workflows, spec-driven development, custom instructions, and prompt engineering.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, contribute to technology planning, and support knowledge sharing and mentorship.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience with Java, Spring, cloud development, and web services supporting high-volume, highly available applications.
- At least 2 years of experience with ETL processes, data pipelines, or messaging frameworks.
- At least 1 year of experience with Spring Batch and messaging publish/subscribe applications using Java frameworks.
- At least 1 year of experience with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo and Bitbucket/Git or similar tools.
- At least 1 year of experience with AWS, GCP, or Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
- At least 1 year of experience with distributed databases such as PostgreSQL, Aerospike, or Yugabyte.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting IT transformation or system modernization initiatives.
- At least 1 year of experience using AI assistance for common development tasks with ownership for correctness and quality.
- Practical familiarity with GitHub Copilot or Claude Code in IDE or CLI workflows.
- Working knowledge of agentic workflows, spec-driven development, custom instructions, and prompt engineering.
- Preferred qualifications include JIRA, .NET, C#, Visual Studio, RabbitMQ, financial services experience, Test-Driven Development, Agile environments, architecture documentation, technical communication, and collaboration across diverse teams.
