Base Salary

$185k - $260k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain core services for offensive cybersecurity and user emulation.
  • Own and drive end-to-end technical projects from requirements gathering to deployment.
  • Mentor and support engineers, promoting a collaborative culture and coding best practices.
  • Define and evangelize technical architecture and best practices through documentation and reviews.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to create user-centered solutions.
  • Ensure AUE team's technical decisions reflect the needs of the broader organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner engineering teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting strategies for system uptime.
  • Ensure services meet security and compliance standards.
  • Identify gaps in tooling and processes and drive initiatives to address them.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in software development with large-scale systems.
  • Expertise in an OOP-based language such as Java or Kotlin.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems.
  • Proven experience with unit testing, integration testing, and deploying services in Kubernetes.
  • Ability to design and operate fault-tolerant systems.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting designs to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of offensive security methods and tactics.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, and routing protocols.
