Responsibilities
- Design and implement new backend features for the cloud-hosted Spark Aligners web portal.
- Contribute to feature refinement, release planning, and sprint planning with product managers and the development team.
- Collaborate with distributed international cross-functional teams.
- Work with the support team to troubleshoot user issues.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software development experience using Java and Spring.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Hibernate, JPA, API design and implementation, unit and integration testing, build systems, relational databases, cloud technologies, and containerization.
- Experience with AWS is preferred, including AWS Lambda, EC2, ALB, ECS, SQS, RDS, SNS, and ECR.
- Experience with MySQL is preferred; PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MSSQL are acceptable alternatives.
- Knowledge and experience with Python is a plus.
- English proficiency of at least B1.
