Responsibilities
- Write high-quality, performant backend code primarily in Go.
- Implement new microservices and help responsibly manage and migrate away from legacy services.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to turn requirements into technical designs.
- Optimize systems for responsiveness, latency, and reliability under heavy load.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building and maintaining scalable backend services, or 5+ years for senior candidates.
- Experience with Go is preferred, though candidates may interview in another strongest language such as Python, C++, Java, or Ruby.
- In-depth knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
- Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.
- Successful candidates complete recruiter screening, algorithms and live coding interviews; senior candidates also complete system design and a structured experience review.
