Responsibilities
- Develop radio production software for 5G and Open RAN radio products.
- Develop automated test cases for new and legacy functionality.
- Troubleshoot and help resolve issues found during testing.
- Perform software/hardware integration testing in the laboratory.
- Contribute to radio software architecture and radio access technology knowledge.
- Review software designs and test plans.
- Use AI agents for code assistance, unit testing, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Be a student in a B.Sc. or M.Sc. program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; ideally have completed at least three undergraduate years or one postgraduate year.
- Demonstrate strong object-oriented programming skills and relevant experience.
- Have strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Be proactive, motivated, organized, and efficient, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Knowledge of wireless communication standards is beneficial.
- Strong Python, Java, C, or C++ skills and experience are assets.
- Experience with AI/ML agent development, frontend or backend development, or Kubernetes is an asset.
- Knowledge of AI/ML and software design patterns is an asset.
