Base Salary
$165k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present Snowflake technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
- Demonstrate and communicate the value of Snowflake technology throughout the sales cycle, from demonstrations and proofs of concept through design and implementation.
- Work with sales teams and channel partners to understand customer needs, strategize winning sales cycles, and close business.
- Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and position Snowflake accordingly.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to improve Snowflake products and marketing.
Requirements
- 7–8 years of industry experience, including a minimum of 5 years in a pre-sales environment.
- Outstanding presentation skills for technical and executive audiences, including impromptu whiteboarding, presentations, and demonstrations.
- Broad experience with large-scale database and data warehouse technology, ETL, analytics, cloud technologies, Data Lake, Data Mesh, or Data Fabric.
- Hands-on expertise with SQL, SQL analytics, and Python.
- Ability to connect customers’ business problems to Snowflake solutions and conduct deep discovery of customer architecture frameworks.
- Curiosity about the AI landscape and ability to serve as a visionary technical thought partner for customers.
- Ability to use AI code-generation tools to improve productivity and efficiency.
- A university degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience is preferred; a master’s in Data Science or Business Administration is a plus.
- Experience with global system integrators such as EY, Deloitte, or Accenture is beneficial but not required.
