Responsibilities
- Build and maintain API automation frameworks from scratch.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, TestNG, Selenium, and Playwright.
- Design, develop, and execute API automation scripts using Rest Assured.
- Ensure test coverage for frontend UI, backend API, and database components.
- Deliver automation test coverage within Agile sprints and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Test AI-driven features or use AI tools to optimize the testing lifecycle.
- Communicate testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements
- Require 5–8 years of experience as an SDET or in a similar automation testing role.
- Require strong proficiency in Java programming.
- Require at least four years of hands-on automation experience using Java, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Maven, and BDD Cucumber.
- Require at least two years of API automation testing experience using Rest Assured.
- Require understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, authentication, and JSON/XML.
- Require knowledge of CI/CD integration tools and practices.
- Insurance domain experience and exposure to AI-driven testing are preferred.
