Base Salary

$146k - $240k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain production-grade machine learning models with real-time inference, scalability, and reliability.
  • Develop scalable ML infrastructure and AI pipelines for data ingestion, preprocessing, search, and retrieval using cloud platforms.
  • Deploy, monitor, and maintain machine learning solutions across production environments.
  • Monitor data drift, concept drift, model performance, system health, and anomalies, and automate retraining when needed.
  • Design and implement deployment pipelines and optimize CI/CD processes for machine learning model testing and deployment.
  • Manage version control for models, parameters, results, and associated code.
  • Lead engineering efforts for ML and GenAI model engineering, LLM advancements, and deployment framework optimization.
  • Ensure AI and machine learning systems meet security, compliance, data protection, and privacy requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive MLOps process and configuration documentation and collaborate cross-functionally on deployment strategies and technical requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with Python, R, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of MLOps engineering principles, agile methodologies, and DevOps lifecycle management.
  • Experience with technical writing and documentation for AI/ML models and processes.
  • Experience with healthcare data and machine learning use cases.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems, with a deep understanding of coding, architecture, and deployment processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, collaboration, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Fire Life Safety Training certification is required; candidates without the card must obtain it within 30 days of hire and renew it before expiration when required within Los Angeles City.

Benefits

  • Full-time position with an exempt, non-union status and an 8-hour day schedule.
  • Annual base salary range of $145,600.00 to $240,240.00.
  • Fire Life Safety Training must be obtained within 30 days of hire if required and not held at hire.
