Responsibilities

  • Use Pytest and GTest to add or modify automated test cases.
  • Write unit and integration tests from scratch for Python and C/C++ modules.
  • Perform basic debugging of failed tests and automation issues.
  • Understand and integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Validate firmware for PCIe, CXL, memory controller, and related products.
  • Set up protocol analyzers, capture and analyze traces, and analyze firmware logs.
  • Use scripting and automation frameworks, including Pytest and Robot Framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on quality and validation processes.
  • Optionally use open-source AI tools and prompt engineering to generate test scenarios.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 4–10 years of hands-on experience and leadership in QA or validation for PCIe, CXL, firmware, and DDR.
  • Strong knowledge of PCIe, CXL, NVMe protocols, SSD architecture, and firmware testing.
  • Proficiency in Python and C/C++.
  • Experience with Pytest, GTest, Robot Framework, and scripting.
  • Ability to create tests from scratch in Python and C/C++.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, trace analysis, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Preferred experience with high-speed interconnects, storage benchmarking, advanced CI/CD integration, and management protocols such as MCTP, Redfish, and NVMe-MI.
