Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications and digital solutions.
- Develop and maintain web applications, enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, automation solutions, database queries, stored procedures, and reporting functionality.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, maintenance, code reviews, documentation, and other software development lifecycle activities.
- Create unit tests, integration tests, and automated test scripts; troubleshoot defects, performance issues, and system integration challenges.
- Support application deployment, release management, CI/CD pipeline activities, user acceptance testing, implementation, post-deployment support, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, technical teams, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions aligned with business and customer needs.
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and development tools supporting modernization and innovation.
- Support Agile activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- At least four years of software development experience supporting enterprise applications, systems, or technology programs.
- Experience developing and maintaining web applications, enterprise applications, APIs, or integrated software solutions.
- Proficiency in one or more of Java, C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL development, data integration, software testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and SDLC processes, with experience in Agile, Scrum, DevOps, or hybrid environments.
- Familiarity with source control and version management tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain the required clearance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent-work, and teamwork skills.
- Preferred qualifications include DHS or CISA program experience, Azure or AWS experience, DevSecOps and CI/CD familiarity, enterprise platform experience, RESTful APIs, microservices, system integration, secure software development, cybersecurity principles, digital transformation, and relevant professional certifications.
