Responsibilities
- Work with logistics teams to understand workflows and translate customer needs into system designs.
- Build full-stack, AI-powered tools using Node.js and TypeScript.
- Integrate ERP and transport management platforms, APIs, SFTP, and event queues.
- Build and maintain reliable data pipelines handling information from multiple sources.
- Shape product direction and technical decisions with the engineering team.
- Own customer solutions from design through deployment and iterate based on feedback.
- Work directly with customers and travel regularly to customer sites across Europe and Asia.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building full-stack applications or backend systems in production.
- Strong Node.js and TypeScript skills, including API design and external-system integrations.
- Experience building and maintaining backend infrastructure and data pipelines at scale.
- Familiarity with Docker, Terraform, GCP, or AWS.
- Experience working directly with customers or end users and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid role in Berlin and travel regularly.
- React or another modern frontend framework, GenAI/LLM architectures, and logistics or supply chain experience are useful.
- Comfort working autonomously in an early-stage environment.
