Base Salary
$116k - $213k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and proactively improve GitHub Actions-based CI pipelines.
- Triage and resolve flaky tests across unit, integration, and end-to-end test suites.
- Support releases and improve the release process over time.
- Act as a first responder for emergent CI infrastructure issues and resolve them independently.
- Support product engineers using Cypress, Jest, and Clojure-based test frameworks.
- Manage test infrastructure across PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, and other databases.
- Document CI health, communicate asynchronously, and share testing and release best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience working with CI/CD systems and owning CI work.
- Solid understanding of GitHub Actions or comparable CI platforms.
- Experience with JavaScript testing tools, particularly Cypress and/or Jest.
- Comfort with Docker and containerization.
- Solid Bash shell scripting skills.
- Experience diagnosing and fixing flaky tests in large test suites.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and debug unfamiliar systems.
- Strong asynchronous written communication skills in a globally distributed team.
