Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable SAP solutions using core ABAP and object-oriented ABAP.
- Implement SAP ABAP workflow solutions for approvals and business process automation.
- Develop and optimize ABAP web services for SAP integration with external systems.
- Configure and enhance BRF business rules components and maintain rule-driven processes.
- Build and maintain WebDynpro for ABAP and SAP WebDynpro for Java applications.
- Review and refactor ABAP code to improve performance, readability, and reusability.
- Translate business and process requirements into technical designs with functional consultants and business partners.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and defect resolution.
- Provide technical guidance on ABAP, workflow design, object-oriented patterns, and service-based integration.
- Coordinate with Basis and integration teams on database performance and interface configurations.
- Document technical specifications, solution designs, and configuration details.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in core ABAP and object-oriented ABAP, including classes, interfaces, modularization, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience designing SAP ABAP workflows, including event handling and complex approval chains.
- Experience developing and consuming ABAP web services for interoperable architectures.
- Practical expertise with BRF business rules framework, including modeling, testing, deployment, and maintenance of rule sets.
- Experience building and maintaining WebDynpro for ABAP and SAP WebDynpro for Java applications.
- Understanding of supply chain management and multichannel domain concepts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for hybrid, cross-functional teams.
