Base Salary
$138k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable production software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure implementation meets design constraints.
- Develop and maintain Java and Python applications, algorithms, database integrations, and event-driven systems.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and create visualizations and reporting to improve applications and systems.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools, validate their outputs, and share effective practices with peers.
- Identify data patterns and hidden problems to improve coding hygiene, system architecture, resiliency, and security.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 3+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency with Java and Spring Boot, and knowledge of Python.
- Experience with JDBC, JPA, Hibernate, Kafka, AWS SQS, relational and non-relational databases, and AWS cloud environments.
- Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and critically evaluating their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, resiliency, security, and software development life cycle practices.
- Preferred experience with React JS, Redux, automated testing with JUnit or Mockito, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and performance troubleshooting.
