Base Salary

$87k - $118k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead system integration projects with customer development teams, partners, third-party systems integrators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, and define complex project scopes, technical specifications, business requirements, and integration architectures.
  • Build robust, scalable solutions for real-time data streaming, event subscriptions, batch processing, and related use cases.
  • Build, test, validate, review, and document code and integration deliverables.
  • Advise customers and implementation teams on Samsara API and product integration best practices.
  • Lead code reviews, provide actionable technical feedback, and advocate for customer-focused API and product improvements.
  • Manage complex projects, dependencies, risks, delivery commitments, and multiple customer engagements.
  • Collaborate with Developer Ecosystem, product, sales, systems engineering, and Professional Services teams.
  • Contribute to Professional Services methodologies and tools and share integration knowledge with developer communities.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience designing and developing integration solutions using established architecture methodologies.
  • Experience gathering data integration requirements and translating them into technical data designs.
  • Ability to write, read, and understand Python and at least one additional programming language such as JavaScript or AppScript.
  • Proficiency with LLM-based tools for code generation, prompt engineering, automation, and developer productivity.
  • Experience designing, orchestrating, and deploying multi-agent systems for enterprise use cases.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience developing solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience building or working with RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and modern databases.
  • Experience with customer evaluations and deployments and the ability to manage multiple customer engagements in parallel.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects involving diverse stakeholders, including C-level executives.
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills and experience working across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • At least 3 years of customer-facing experience supporting enterprise-scale integrations or API scripting is preferred.
  • Experience configuring and deploying complex technical solutions and familiarity with B2B integration projects are preferred.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, data visualization, fleets, logistics, or vehicle diagnostic systems is a plus.
