Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, maintain, enhance, and modernize enterprise software applications.
- Develop Oracle APEX applications, user interfaces, workflows, reports, dashboards, forms, and data visualizations.
- Maintain and enhance named operational platforms including Owner Operator, Dashboard, Events and Incidents, Digital Library, IPRS, SEDIT, Taxonomy, and Digital Express Statement.
- Participate in requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, release, upgrade, patching, and sustainment activities.
- Develop APIs, system integrations, data exchange processes, SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, and database components.
- Troubleshoot application defects, production issues, system errors, performance bottlenecks, incidents, and operational problems.
- Perform unit, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing support.
- Create technical, application, code, and operational documentation and participate in code reviews.
- Implement secure coding practices, remediate vulnerabilities, support data migration and validation, and collaborate with infrastructure, database, and cybersecurity teams.
- Monitor application performance and contribute to automation, application stability, customer service, and service delivery improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least four years of software development experience, including enterprise application development, maintenance, and operational support.
- Experience with Oracle APEX application development and Oracle database technologies.
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, database development, application troubleshooting, testing, debugging, and defect resolution.
- Experience developing reports, dashboards, workflows, user interfaces, and data-driven applications.
- Familiarity with source control and version management tools such as Git, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability determination, Public Trust, Secret, or higher security clearance as required.
- Preferred qualifications include DHS/CISA experience, Oracle APEX architecture and optimization experience, enterprise integrations, federal cybersecurity knowledge including FISMA and NIST RMF, Agile and automated deployment experience, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Power Platform, AWS or Microsoft Azure experience, and relevant Oracle or security certifications.
