Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate the Model Factory’s data and analytics systems.
- Own the full lifecycle of experiment data, including modeling, ingestion, retrieval, querying, analysis, and retention.
- Partner with researchers to understand their workflows and guide data and analytics development.
- Build greenfield systems and extend existing systems for greater scale, reliability, and performance.
- Lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives and drive alignment and progress.
Requirements
- Strong programming skills in Go, Python, or similar languages.
- Proven experience building and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Strong understanding of consistency models, queue or stream processing, and data pipelines.
- Production experience with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and observability systems.
- Ability to lead ambiguous and cross-functional initiatives.
- Preferred experience with OLAP databases, time-series databases, high-cardinality datasets, and ML research workflows.
