Base Salary
$166k - $267k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and deploy software in a continuous manner.
- Develop systems that power bookkeeping automation, including workflows and third-party integrations.
- Design and implement reliable workflow orchestration across services and tools.
- Build observability into automation systems for performance tracking.
- Mentor and sponsor teammates to foster their growth.
- Contribute to the security and reliability of systems handling sensitive data.
- Help design evaluation frameworks to measure workflow quality and business impact.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to solve ambiguous problems.
- Write clear technical designs and maintain high engineering standards.
- Investigate production issues and improve system reliability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience with Python in production environments.
- Proven track record of building production software and shipping customer-facing systems.
- Strong coding fundamentals with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Good product and systems judgment in ambiguous problem spaces.
- Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally.
- Interest in building reliable and secure automation systems.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and teach others.
