Responsibilities
- Design, build, integrate, and extend scalable enterprise applications using C#, .NET, Azure, and microservices.
- Develop backend services, RESTful APIs, integrations, and distributed systems for enterprise and financial services clients.
- Collaborate directly with clients, product managers, designers, architects, and engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, manage multiple priorities, and contribute to architecture decisions.
- Write clean, maintainable, testable code and participate in peer code reviews.
- Mentor developers and help promote engineering best practices.
- Build and maintain secure, high-performance applications using cloud-native services, messaging, containers, and automated testing.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience with C#, .NET Core or .NET 6+, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework.
- Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs, microservices, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with SOAP and REST integrations, JSON, XML, and modern API design practices.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or similar messaging technologies.
- Experience writing automated unit and integration tests with xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
- Strong knowledge of Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Microsoft Azure, application security, authentication, authorization, OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and secure API design.
- Experience with large-scale enterprise applications, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban.
- Experience in financial services, fintech, banking, or other enterprise environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience includes Azure Functions, Azure API Management, Azure Key Vault, Cosmos DB, Event Hubs, OpenShift, high-volume transactional or payment platforms, and leading technical initiatives or mentoring developers.
