Base Salary

$160k - $200k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Co-lead software infrastructure design and development while driving technical vision, scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Build sophisticated stateful web applications by integrating React-based front ends with modular backend services.
  • Provide technical leadership in distributed systems, data technologies, and software engineering.
  • Drive technical innovation and research into emerging data technologies and engineering practices.
  • Mentor and develop engineers through code reviews, architectural workshops, and technical guidance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Adapt to the JavaScript ecosystem to improve engineering efficiency.
  • Maintain data quality, integrity, security, compliance, and best practices throughout the data lifecycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, software development, or a related field, including at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience building full-stack web applications with JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.
  • Track record of architecting and delivering complex data projects at scale.
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure, distributed systems, data modeling, data warehousing, ETL, and data pipeline optimization.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, leadership, mentoring, and cross-team alignment skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver under tight timelines.
  • Preferred experience developing production-quality LLM applications and using agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, LangSmith, LangFuse, or CrewAI.
  • Preferred expertise with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, and cloud-based data services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
