Responsibilities
- Define enterprise test strategy, quality roadmaps, governance models, quality gates, entry/exit criteria, and release sign-offs.
- Lead QA teams of 20–100+ members across cross-functional, multi-vendor, and distributed delivery models.
- Manage estimation, budgeting, capacity planning, forecasting, risk-based testing, defect triage, and release readiness.
- Oversee functional, automation, API, regression, non-functional, load, stress, soak, scalability, and performance testing.
- Drive automation framework scalability, CI/CD integration, traceability, test coverage, quality dashboards, and script optimization.
- Define performance objectives including throughput, concurrency, response-time SLAs, resilience, failover, and capacity validation.
- Engage business, architecture, DevOps, infrastructure, and client stakeholders, including executive reporting and UAT governance.
- Implement Quality Engineering maturity models, AI-enabled testing, standardized tools, and Testing Center of Excellence frameworks.
- Track quality outcomes including production defect leakage, automation coverage, performance SLA adherence, release-cycle time, and environment-related delays.
Requirements
- 16–20 years of Quality Engineering experience.
- Proven leadership of large-scale enterprise programs and large QA organizations.
- Strong expertise in functional, non-functional, automation, performance, API, and Quality Engineering practices.
- Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Tosca, LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, K6, Postman, and Rest Assured.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Git, JIRA, ALM, and Azure Test Plans.
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS cloud and DevOps environments.
- Experience in BFSI, Telecom, or Oil & Gas is preferred.
- ISTQB or Agile certifications are preferred.
- Experience with SAP, Core Banking, CRM, or Digital Channels is a plus.
- Strong strategic leadership, negotiation, escalation management, decision-making, and senior-stakeholder influencing skills.
- BE/BTech in IT, Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, EEE, or Electronics.
