Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI-powered applications, assistants, agents, automations, and integrations.
Translate business needs into functional prototypes, pilots, and enterprise-grade solutions.
Build and maintain reusable AI components and patterns such as RAG, prompt templates, embeddings, orchestration, evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails.
Integrate solutions with enterprise data sources, APIs, document repositories, and cloud platforms.
Partner with architecture and governance teams to follow approved design patterns and avoid one-off solutions.
Own the AI delivery lifecycle, including automated testing, deployment, observability, troubleshooting, and support.
Evaluate whether use cases should use a build, buy, vendor, or non-AI approach.
Monitor and optimize solutions for performance, reliability, cost, and user adoption.
Document solutions and stay current on emerging AI technologies and practical improvements.

Strong hands-on experience in software development and application engineering.
Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C#.
Experience building APIs, integrations, enterprise applications, or automation workflows.
Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, agents, prompt design, and model evaluation.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of automated testing and production deployment practices.
Ability to integrate structured and unstructured data sources.
Understanding of identity, access control, secrets management, data protection, and other security best practices.
Strong analytical problem-solving, practical decision-making, and communication skills across technical and business audiences.
Preferred experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Databricks, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Power BI, vector databases, document intelligence, enterprise search, AI orchestration frameworks, evaluation frameworks, observability, cost management, and prompt/version control.
Background developing internal enterprise tools or workflow automation solutions is preferred.
Experience in retail, e-commerce, supply chain, merchandising, finance, or customer operations is preferred.
Familiarity with compliance, privacy, and enterprise data governance requirements is preferred.
