Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own technical direction of the ML Platform, focusing on scalability, reliability, latency, and cost.
- Lead design and delivery of large-scope platform initiatives from conception through production.
- Identify and resolve systemic technical challenges related to ML infrastructure.
- Set and maintain a high engineering quality bar through code contributions and mentorship.
- Partner with various teams to translate ML strategy into technical roadmaps.
- Define processes for safe model shipping, including feature registration and monitoring.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance development velocity and code quality.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience delivering complex backend or infrastructure systems at scale.
- Direct experience with core ML infrastructure such as feature stores and model serving.
- Mastery of a modern backend programming language like Python, Java, or Go.
- Deep proficiency in distributed systems concepts including consistency and fault tolerance.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and online/offline data patterns in ML systems.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and ability to influence cross-team alignment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
