Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end development of Eats Merchant services.
- Design, build, and operate large-scale services using diverse technologies.
- Develop core systems for thousands of merchants that influence the experience of millions of customers.
- Focus on site reliability and seamless shopping experiences.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and a global engineering organization across Seoul, Shanghai, Beijing, and San Francisco.
- Diagnose issues and solve problems creatively in a fast-changing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience with large-scale distributed systems, system design, and algorithms.
- At least 4 years of coding experience in Java or another object-oriented programming language.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills and proficiency in Java or a similar language.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale services.
- Proficiency with AWS and Spring Framework.
- Preferred experience in e-commerce or O2O industries.
- Preferred expertise in logistics for large-scale services with complex business offerings.
- Preferred development experience related to location-based services or logistics.
- Preferred excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
