Responsibilities
- Develop GenAI solutions using current techniques from Databricks AI research to solve customer problems.
- Own production rollouts of consumer-facing and internally facing GenAI applications.
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers across varied domains.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to influence priorities and shape the product roadmap.
- Present at conferences and act as an internal and external technical thought leader.
- Travel to customers approximately once every 4–8 weeks as needed.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience.
- Experience building GenAI applications involving RAG, multi-agent systems, Text2SQL, fine-tuning, and related techniques using tools such as HuggingFace, LangChain, and DSPy.
- Expertise deploying production-grade GenAI applications, including evaluation and optimization.
- Extensive hands-on industry data science experience using tools such as pandas, scikit-learn, and PyTorch.
- Experience building production-grade machine learning deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Operations Research, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience communicating or teaching technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred experience with the Databricks Intelligence Platform and Apache Spark for processing large-scale distributed datasets.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites once every 4–8 weeks as needed.
