Responsibilities
- Partner with product and engineering during discovery and design to shape acceptance criteria, risk models, and quality expectations.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, mobile, and web testing.
- Automate testing and maintain test suites, especially using Maestro and Playwright.
- Use AI to generate test scenarios, triage failures, analyze logs and crash data, and assist with defect resolution.
- Build reusable AI-assisted agents, reports, prompts, and workflows for QA and engineering teams.
- Use analytics, crash reports, support tickets, and user reviews to guide testing and monitoring decisions.
- Define and track business-relevant quality metrics.
- Create detailed test plans, gather test requirements, and provide quality support to engineering teams.
- Reduce flaky tests and improve test selection, self-healing, and overall test resilience.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a QA Analyst or QA Engineer.
- At least 3 years performing functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
- Fluency in English and excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Experience with mobile app and web testing.
- Experience automating testing, especially with Maestro and Playwright.
- Experience designing prompts, workflows, or agents that improve test design, execution, or analysis.
- Demonstrated judgment in applying and critically validating AI-generated tests and code.
- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
- Experience gathering test requirements and creating detailed test plans.
- Experience working directly with engineering teams to provide quality support.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- ISTQB certification, Agile development experience, and familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines are helpful but not required.
