Responsibilities
- Validate Japanese-language customer experiences across Alexa voice, mobile, and web for Japan-market users.
- Develop and execute manual and automated tests, test plans, test cases, and test strategies.
- Execute test cases across product functional areas and report testing results.
- Find, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolution.
- Collaborate with Software Development Engineers to understand technical architecture and feature implementation.
- Design test conditions, scripts, and data sets to ensure adequate test coverage.
- Advocate for quality and ensure high-quality product delivery across the development process.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of quality assurance engineering experience.
- Fluent spoken, written, and reading ability in English and Japanese.
- Experience with automation testing and manual testing.
- Experience with UI and API automation testing using Selenium and SOAPUI.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
- Preferred experience with API and mobile testing, test planning, large distributed teams, and voice assistants.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver projects and tasks.
