Responsibilities
- Lead the technical team in developing architecture and delivering capabilities across worldwide Amazon stores.
- Build systems from the ground up that scale across multiple marketplaces and support high transaction volumes.
- Develop and launch customer-facing products for international markets.
- Contribute to agentic platforms using LLMs and real-time recommendations.
- Collaborate with software engineers, applied scientists, product managers, principals, and end customers.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience in at least one software programming language.
- Knowledge of machine learning and LLM fundamentals, including transformer architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization techniques.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
