Responsibilities
- Design and develop services supporting FX pricing, trade capture, control applications, and regulatory functionality.
- Lead the architecture, development, and enhancement of distributed Java-based platforms and services.
- Drive technical strategy and influence engineering direction for server-side application development.
- Promote software engineering best practices, including testing, code quality, automation, and development tooling.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and code reviews.
- Lead all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Translate business and technology requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support major production events, resolve issues promptly, and drive long-term operational improvements.
- Adopt AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, reduce technical debt, and enhance delivery throughput.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience with Java and distributed server-side application development.
- Experience with Spring, web services, RESTful APIs, relational databases, and middleware technologies.
- Experience designing and delivering scalable microservices and enterprise-grade software solutions.
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across business and technology teams.
- Knowledge of French and English is required.
- Financial industry experience and knowledge of FX products and related business processes are a plus.
