Engineering Technical Lead - I&C Embedded Software

Responsibilities
- Lead work planning, scheduling, and resource loading across engineering lifecycle phases and new product introduction.
- Lead day-to-day execution to ensure deliverables meet specification, budget, schedule, quality, and safety commitments.
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship for embedded software system designs and deliverables through production, validation, installation, and commissioning.
- Coordinate across engineering disciplines, project management, project engineering, and support functions to achieve integrated plant design and project completion.
- Identify, document, and lead resolution of technical, risk, scope, and other emergent issues.
- Drive compliance with design processes, technical reviews, quality systems, corrective action programs, and nuclear safety requirements.
- Use requirements, design, change, configuration, and document management tools.
- Support strategy, statements of work, resource loading, learning sessions, knowledge capture, and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent four-year technical degree from an accredited college or university.
- At least 10 years of experience in embedded software development with deep knowledge of the C programming language and software development tools.
- At least 10 years of experience with C coding conventions, unit testing, and software integration testing.
- At least 5 years of experience conducting independent or team-based system designs or technical reviews involving requirements management and independent verification and validation.
- Experience in nuclear analog and digital instrumentation, control, monitoring, electric power systems, or field engineering is desired.
- Experience with commercial nuclear plant instrumentation application software, control and monitoring software system design, implementation, testing, installation, and commissioning is desired.
- Knowledge of IEEE, IEC, quality standards, C coding standards, design patterns, data structures and algorithms, and design verification and validation is desired.
- Experience with modeling and test data collection tools, product and system design, qualification, and field installation and testing is desired.
- Strong technical writing, communication, facilitation, presentation, analytical, and technical leadership skills are desired.
