Forward Deployed Software Engineer
NorthslopeResponsibilities
- Work closely with customer stakeholders to conceive, architect, build, and maintain applications.
- Understand customers' critical objectives and create operationalized workflows on enterprise data.
- Build and iterate quickly on applications from scratch that end users use to improve business operations.
- Embed with customers and collaborate with internal and external teammates across varying levels of technical proficiency.
- Own work and outcomes autonomously while delivering measurable customer value.
- Travel occasionally for client implementation work and customer engagements.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript.
- Demonstrated ability to build production applications using large structured and unstructured datasets.
- Track record of delivering real-world organizational outcomes through software, data science, or deeply technical analytics work.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and independent ownership abilities.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client implementation work, typically 10–33% of the time.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid, in-person environment from the London or New York hub offices and onsite with customers.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Palantir Foundry and/or AIP is preferred.
- Experience delivering production ML and/or LLM-based solutions is preferred.
- Experience delivering production frontend applications in React is preferred.
- Experience with Spark and distributed compute is preferred.
