Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and debug Java applications for DAZN's streaming platform.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to deliver software solutions.
Optimize performance, scalability, and reliability of existing Java applications.
Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs promptly.
Maintain clear documentation for code and technical designs.
Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
6-8 years of programming experience with Core Java.
Proven experience in Java development, including Java EE or Spring Framework.
Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and web services.
Familiarity with database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms like AWS or Azure is mandatory.
Experience with testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
