Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to public-sector clients and Salesforce teams.
- Lead presales and implementation architecture, including engagement shaping, scoping, and solutioning.
- Provide technical oversight and execution leadership for large-scale and mission-critical engagements.
- Design and optimize application, data, integration, and security architectures on the Salesforce Platform.
- Manage risks, customer expectations, complex negotiations, project direction, and key program artifacts.
- Collaborate with Delivery Managers, Solution Architects, clients, and third-party partners.
- Contribute to consulting-practice initiatives, knowledge sharing, mentoring, and program strategy.
- Guide customers and colleagues in adopting emerging technologies and maintainable, extensible solutions.
Requirements
- 8+ years of enterprise architecture or consulting experience on the Salesforce Platform, including Core Sales/Services, within the public sector.
- Strong application design skills and strong data, integration, and security architecture skills.
- Strong presentation, written communication, verbal communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management abilities.
- U.S. citizenship, without dual citizenship, and ability to obtain and maintain the required U.S. federal government Moderate Public Trust background investigation and security clearance.
- Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preferred: Metro DC location and Salesforce Certified Technical Architect or multiple Salesforce Architecture certifications.
- Preferred: experience with public-sector digital transformation initiatives, Public Sector Solutions, Agentforce Public Sector, Omni Studio, application design and development, and communicating best practices to large organizations.
