Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements with analysts and stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
- Customize and configure Salesforce applications using custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce application issues and support optimal performance and user experience.
- Create and maintain design specifications, operational runbooks, code comments, technical documentation, and user guides.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Work with developers and administrators across Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and Marketing Cloud/Social Studio.
- Provide training to teammates and business users and implement improvements based on Salesforce releases and best practices.
Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field and six years of satisfactory full-time related experience.
- Alternatively, a baccalaureate degree in any field and ten years of satisfactory full-time related experience.
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for the stated qualifications.
- Strong Salesforce technical expertise, independent judgment, problem-solving ability, and critical-thinking skills.
- Strong written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, client-relations, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, tailor solutions to customer needs, and understand processes from start to finish.
- Java experience is a plus.
