Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend software for a high-performing banking project.
- Work with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, JPA, and database technologies.
- Apply software design and architecture patterns within a microservices environment.
- Participate in a mandatory rotating 24/7 on-call schedule, approximately one week every three to four months, to resolve critical incidents when required.
- Contribute to API design and specification where applicable.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Advanced expertise in J2EE, Spring Boot, and Apache Kafka.
- Experience with Java 8 or later, JPA, microservices architecture, and software design and architecture patterns.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, or similar databases.
- English proficiency at a minimum B2 level.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies such as TDD or BDD and Agile/Scrum ways of working.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI 3/OAS3 and reactive programming is desirable.
