Base Salary
$115k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and influence enterprise engineering strategy, architecture, technology selection, and product direction.
- Design and deliver high-quality full-stack software, services, APIs, event-driven systems, and AI-enabled enterprise solutions.
- Identify, evaluate, and productionize valuable use cases for AI, intelligent automation, agents, retrieval-augmented generation, and hybrid workflows.
- Design durable, observable workflows using orchestration, agent patterns, tools, APIs, business rules, and human-in-the-loop steps.
- Establish production patterns for evaluation, monitoring, testing, quality metrics, safety, fallback behavior, governance, and incident response.
- Mentor engineers and product partners, educate executives, and strengthen organizational expertise in applied AI and responsible deployment.
Requirements
- 8+ years of full-stack development experience with Java, C#, Python, or Go and client-side and server-side frameworks.
- 6+ years of architecture and design experience.
- 2+ years of applied AI, generative AI, or intelligent automation experience in production, or demonstrable ownership of AI-enabled platform capabilities.
- Extensive experience shipping LLM, generative AI, or intelligent automation solutions in production environments.
- Experience designing and developing microservices and resilient event-driven or messaging-based systems using GraphQL, gRPC, Java, Python, and Kafka.
- Fluency in at least two modern object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, C++, or Python.
- Experience with AI architecture, model and API integration, agents, retrieval, vector stores, knowledge graphs, workflow orchestration, authentication, APIs, events, and observability.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Cosmos, Cassandra, and Apache Trino.
- Experience with cloud platforms, container orchestration, developer tooling, automated testing, and evaluation and regression testing for nondeterministic AI components.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience.
