Base Salary
$163k - $244k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the Customer Engineering team for Qualcomm’s Home and Life segment.
- Drive consumer IoT design reviews for home appliances, cleaning robots, and media products.
- Provide global customer support across China, the US, Korea, and Taiwan.
- Build relationships with partners and customers, understand their needs, and define business and product solutions with stakeholders.
- Help customers understand, integrate, customize, build, and bring up Qualcomm software.
- Enable debugging features, provide customer training, and troubleshoot display performance across multiple panels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 6+ years of relevant experience; or a master’s degree plus 5+ years; or a PhD plus 4+ years.
- At least 3 years of experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, and Python.
- At least 3 years of experience with debugging techniques.
- Experience with DSI, eDP, DP, or HDMI display interface standards.
- Professional knowledge of the Android/Linux kernel and display performance debugging on multiple panels.
- Knowledge of Linux, Android, LXC, multithreading, display architectures such as SDM and Rendering, SurfaceFlinger, HWC, Android display architecture, native services and frameworks, multi-display support, and DRM cards.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills using tools such as GDB, JTAG-Debugger, and ADB.
- Preferred qualifications include prior experience with Qualcomm MSM software platforms, 5+ years of programming experience, 5+ years of debugging experience, and 7+ years collaborating with global teams and customers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
