Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical leadership for critical software, middleware, or hardware projects across multiple platforms.
- Lead architecture, development, implementation, technical solution approval, and comprehensive functional, performance, and security testing.
- Resolve complex technical problems and anticipate issues to support preventive action.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using compute, storage, networking, IAM, containerized, and serverless patterns.
- Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Apply Git-based version control, code reviews, secure development practices, and software quality standards.
- Advise stakeholders on architecture, technical strategies, project risks, and solution trade-offs.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, architecture artifacts, API specifications, and design standards.
- Embed security, resiliency, regulatory, enterprise IT, and governance requirements into solutions.
- Mentor engineers on architecture, design patterns, coding standards, cloud technologies, and software delivery practices.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, Infrastructure, Security, and cross-functional teams on modernization initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in software development, architecture, and system integration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or IT, Bachelor’s in Computer Applications, or Master’s in Computer Applications.
- Strong expertise in software architecture, system design, and technical leadership for enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, TypeScript, Angular or React, scalable APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience with AWS, including ECS, Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, IAM, containerized and serverless architectures, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with relational databases, SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, Secure SDLC, and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of observability, production support, incident management, performance optimization, and message-driven or asynchronous integration patterns.
- Ability to lead Agile teams, mentor engineers, manage technical delivery, and collaborate with Product, UX, and business stakeholders.
- AWS certifications are preferred.
