Base Salary
$182k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with sales teams to build and implement strategic technical account plans that support sales quotas.
- Position, demonstrate, design, and architect Palo Alto Networks security solutions for customer environments.
- Conduct technical discovery and align cybersecurity solutions with customer requirements and business needs.
- Lead proof-of-concept engagements, technical workshops, product demonstrations, and technical validation activities.
- Drive customer adoption, successful implementation, operational efficiency, and business value.
- Coordinate Professional Services, Customer Success, specialist teams, channel partners, and Customer Support resources.
- Communicate complex security concepts to technical practitioners, executives, and other stakeholders.
- Design large, complex environments across network security, security operations, cloud security, SOC, and related domains.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging security threats.
- Mentor inside Systems Engineers and contribute to the District Systems Engineer community and industry events.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of pre-sales or sales engineering experience, or completion of the SC Academy.
- Understanding of data networking, security architectures, and modern cloud computing environments.
- Preferred experience delivering cybersecurity solutions and influencing new business initiatives.
- Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from customer or internal stakeholders, ideally in a pre-sales role.
- Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
- Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation technologies.
- Experience partnering with Customer Support to support solution implementation and adoption.
- Preferred experience with complex sales involving long sales processes, multiple buying centers, and multi-product solutions.
- Proficiency in English.
- Ability and willingness to travel for field customer meetings, up to 50% within the assigned district.
