Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architecture, system interdependencies, application stacks, and project objectives.
- Design, develop, simulate, test, and maintain automation products, processes, frameworks, tools, and reusable libraries.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, and usage cases for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional testing.
- Implement automated testing and software validation processes, track coverage metrics, and resolve defects and bugs.
- Develop technical specifications, automation solutions, backend/database programs, and continuous deployment strategies.
- Collaborate with development teams, project management, business subject matter experts, testers, support personnel, users, partners, and clients.
- Document automation processes, test cases, debugging data, performance reviews, project work, and defect mitigation techniques.
- Track project risks, deployment issues, resolutions, client escalations, and automation quality metrics.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in test automation.
- Experience understanding software requirements, designing automation frameworks, developing test cases, and executing automated tests.
- Ability to design and implement automated testing tools and software validation processes.
- Ability to perform functional, regression, performance, and non-functional test automation.
- Ability to develop technical specifications, resolve complex technical design issues, and perform backend/database programming when needed.
- Ability to collaborate with Agile delivery teams and stakeholders and contribute to acceptance criteria and test automation backlogs.
- Ability to document code and projects according to organizational quality standards and use established design patterns and best practices.
