Senior Demo Engineer — Informatica Demo Engineering
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Drive development of reusable demo assets, custom demos, and partner or customer workshops across Analytics & BI, Compliance & ESG, and Cloud Modernization use cases.
- Design and build end-to-end demos and workshops using IDMC Data Governance and Data Integration services.
- Develop hands-on workshop curricula with structured exercises, guided labs, and enablement materials.
- Manage delivery from use-case definition and prioritization through storyboarding, configuration, QA validation, release communication, and Solution Engineering enablement.
- Build and automate demonstration scenarios using API integrations and Python, including use of Claude to accelerate development.
- Support strategic deals and partner enablement initiatives, troubleshoot demo and workshop environments, and resolve issues with technical teams.
- Provide deep IDMC technical knowledge, respond to stakeholder questions, and mentor the team on technical and business best practices.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of relevant experience in SaaS or data engineering solution development.
- Strong scripting or programming skills, API connectivity, and Python development experience.
- Working knowledge of IDMC Data Governance and Data Integration services; broader IDMC experience is beneficial.
- Required familiarity with Analytics & BI and Compliance & ESG use cases.
- Experience with data models, system integration, data migration, data governance, and data integration solutions.
- Ability to design engaging technical workshops, explain solutions through storytelling, and configure and develop demonstration assets.
- Project management and prioritization skills for coordinating complex delivery work.
- Strong working knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Experience using Claude or similar AI tools for building demos and workshops is preferred.
- Experience as a solution engineer or demo engineer, technical workshop delivery experience, hands-on IDMC experience, and cloud platform certifications in AWS, Azure, or GCP are preferred.
