Responsibilities
- Perform manual and automated software testing based on team, feature, and project needs.
- Write moderately complex code and develop automation frameworks for APIs, RESTful APIs, web services, and other non-UI components.
- Create and maintain automated test suites, scripts, test data, test plans, test cases, and testing conditions.
- Integrate automated testing suites with CI tools and support TDD, BDD, and continuous quality practices.
- Collaborate with developers, business stakeholders, test analysts, leadership, and clients on quality assurance activities.
- Coordinate test engineering activities for assigned client projects, including reviewing test plans and scripts, prioritizing execution, and providing feedback.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in software testing, coding, designing, and development.
- Strong coding skills, preferably in Java.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and server tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience maintaining automation frameworks and test tools.
- Knowledge of SQL and databases.
- Experience with Java, IntelliJ, and Selenium.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, self-motivation, resourcefulness, teamwork, and ownership.
- Preferred experience with Appium, HTML, CSS, XPath, ADB, Maven, API testing, Cucumber, Gherkin, automation framework creation, point-of-sale systems, GCP, or AWS.
