Base Salary

$170k - $190k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and evolve engineering quickstart templates and shared components.
  • Define and maintain engineering standards, guardrails, best practices, documentation, playbooks, and platform patterns.
  • Improve developer onboarding and developer experience across engineering teams.
  • Support and evolve the Internal Developer Portal.
  • Implement and maintain static code analysis and quality gates using SonarCloud.
  • Monitor engineering metrics with LinearB and identify systemic improvement opportunities.
  • Improve CI/CD workflows and engineering practices across teams.
  • Define API design, system architecture, and integration patterns.
  • Lead the Center for Enablement engineering team and define the software engineering platform roadmap and priorities.
  • Mentor engineers, promote adoption of engineering standards, and partner with product teams.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or architecture.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python and FastAPI.
  • Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and ReactJS.
  • Experience with API architecture, integration patterns, database design, SQL, and schema management.
  • Experience working with Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of modern software architecture and engineering practices.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with internal developer platforms or shared engineering tooling is preferred.
  • Experience with Backstage or similar developer portals is preferred.
  • Experience with SonarCloud, LinearB, Datadog, or similar engineering productivity tools is preferred.
  • Experience leading platform or enablement teams is preferred.
