Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, direction, and guidance to the development team.
- Balance approximately 50% software architecture and 50% hands-on software development.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Design and develop microservices-based and AWS serverless solutions.
- Work with TypeScript, SQL and NoSQL data solutions, asynchronous application components, and distributed systems.
- Contribute to architectural decisions, solution design, code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub-based development.
- Collaborate with domain architects, developers, DevOps professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Promote maintainable, scalable, reliable, and high-quality engineering practices.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly across teams and support development in Unix/Linux environments.
Requirements
- 8+ years of relevant software development experience.
- Proven experience in Tech Lead or Team Lead roles.
- Advanced Java backend development and strong Spring Boot experience.
- Experience with TypeScript, AWS serverless services, microservices architecture, and software architecture concepts.
- Database experience with SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with GitHub, asynchronous programming, Unix/Linux, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with Scrum, SAFe, and/or Kanban delivery models.
- Bachelor’s degree or graduation, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Must be comfortable remaining hands-on with software development rather than working solely in an architectural or managerial capacity.
- Preferred experience includes the automotive industry, automotive connectivity, AWS CDK, AWS CodePipeline, Docker, additional serverless development, load testing, application profiling, and performance optimization.
