Responsibilities

  • Design, codify, test, and deliver Kubernetes-based microservices configurations using Kubernetes and Helm.
  • Build reusable base configurations with environment overlays and support safe promotion across development, staging, and production.
  • Operate a GitOps delivery model with Argo CD, including canary releases, validation gates, autoscaling, resiliency, and secure secrets management.
  • Use Prometheus and Grafana to improve reliability and performance through data-driven observability.
  • Enforce configuration quality, governance, security, compliance, reproducibility, backup, restore, and disaster recovery.
  • Advance self-service deployment capabilities using Backstage and Argo CD.
  • Use AI-assisted tools to accelerate configuration-as-code development, validation, and optimization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in an analytical subject such as Computer Science or Electronic/Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of demonstrated software development experience.
  • Extensive architecture and programming experience with the ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong experience with Kubernetes and microservices.
  • Experience with GitOps and CI/CD.
  • Preferred experience with Helm or Kustomize, Argo CD, HashiCorp Vault, and observability involving metrics, logs, or tracing.
