Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and develop core product and business logic for agent-based developer workflows.
- Build integrations between Air product surfaces, external APIs, local CLIs, and AI coding agents.
- Improve agent setup, context handling, task execution, and failure recovery.
- Develop highly concurrent and asynchronous logic for reliable multi-step agent interactions.
- Use AI agents and assistants in daily development to evaluate limitations and improve workflows.
- Lead technical design discussions, write maintainable code, and participate in peer code reviews.
- Collaborate with distributed product and ML engineering teams on complex architectural problems.
Requirements
- Comprehensive professional software development experience demonstrating senior-level technical maturity.
- Strong programming skills in at least one modern backend language and readiness to work primarily in Kotlin.
- Deep practical understanding of concurrent and asynchronous programming, including coroutines, threads, async I/O, and synchronization primitives.
- Track record of building and shipping application workflows, third-party integrations, or service-backed logic.
- Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools, task orchestration, tool usage, and prompt context management.
- Understanding of data structures, debugging, observability, and test-driven development.
- Fluency in written and spoken English for distributed technical collaboration.
