Responsibilities
- Develop software for Lattice for Mission Autonomy and other autonomous robotic systems
- Build software solutions involving substantial data processing and analysis
- Develop autonomy features and algorithms for multi-agent systems
- Support modeling and simulation involving physics, mathematics, motion planning, and physical systems
- Build, test, and deploy capabilities in real-world environments
- Collaborate with perception, motion planning, hardware, and test engineering teams
- Travel up to 30% of the time for development, testing, and deployment
Requirements
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- At least 3 years of production-grade C++ and/or Rust experience in a Linux development environment
- Experience building software involving significant data processing and analysis
- Ability to understand and navigate complex systems and established codebases quickly
- Strong focus or background in Physics, Mathematics, and/or Motion Planning is preferred
- Experience developing and testing multi-agent autonomous systems in real-world environments is preferred
- Experience with feature and algorithm development and behavior trees is preferred
- Experience developing software or hardware for flight systems and safety-critical functionality is preferred
- Knowledge of distributed communication networks, message standards, military systems, and operational tactics is preferred
