Base Salary
$149k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering architecture design reviews.
- Set a high technical bar through code and architecture design reviews.
- Mentor engineers and provide hands-on technical teaching.
- Work across Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated customer solutions.
- Improve engineering processes, including long-term planning, sprint planning, and stand-ups.
- Build mission-critical services that meet high availability and latency standards.
- Work with open source technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience designing and delivering highly available, scalable cloud-based systems.
- Backend service experience with multiple managed languages such as Java, Scala, Go, C#, or similar.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL data stores.
