Base Salary
$151k - $204k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work hands-on with early-stage founders to design and iterate on scalable application and infrastructure architectures.
- Help startups select foundation models and AI services and build production-ready GenAI products and services.
- Advise on GenAI application costs, latency, accuracy, safety, and best practices.
- Support vector databases, data pipelines, retrieval-augmented generation, and fine-tuning workflows for AI products.
- Build relationships with San Francisco accelerators, incubators, venture firms, and the broader startup ecosystem.
- Represent founder feedback and needs to AWS product and engineering teams.
- Create startup-focused technical content, reference architectures, and sample code.
- Present at startup events, demo days, and developer meetups.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in application or infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- At least 4 years of experience in a relevant technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- Preferred: experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
- Preferred: experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
- Preferred: experience with AWS technologies from a development and operations perspective.
- Preferred: experience working with end-user or developer communities.
