Responsibilities
- Understand the business drivers and decision-making processes of German Public Sector customers.
- Connect technology solutions from the Everpure Storage portfolio and ecosystem to measurable customer outcomes.
- Partner with account managers, specialists, and systems integrator partners to develop customer strategies and drive revenue growth and new business.
- Lead technical sales responsibilities, including evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and technical product and architecture presentations.
- Demonstrate the advantages of Everpure Storage solutions and secure technical wins with customers and prospects.
- Translate customer business requirements into innovative storage and technology solutions.
- Author and lead responses to German Public Sector RFPs.
- Drive interoperability, functional, and performance testing and validation opportunities.
- Collaborate with product and technical marketing on whitepapers, web presentations, and alliance materials.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and solution positioning while promoting technical thought leadership.
Requirements
- Pre-sales experience with German Public Sector customers in Germany is required.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience across technology, design, and communications is required.
- Strong NFS and SMB file-system skills are required; ONTAP NFS Administration or NetApp NCDA certifications are examples of relevant credentials.
- Experience supporting sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to German Public Sector or enterprise accounts is required.
- Deep understanding of multi-tiered client/server and web-based computing architecture, design, and implementation is required.
- Experience with enterprise storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, and Object/S3 is required.
- Experience with Linux, NFS file systems, Linux distributed network environments, and distributed computing or storage subsystem configuration is required.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architecture, on-premises and public-cloud environments, provisioning automation, and containers is required.
- Knowledge of VMware, local-area networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking is required.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, microservices, modern web architecture, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework is a plus.
- Experience with storage-intensive applications and structured databases such as SQL and Oracle is highly desirable.
- Experience targeting new prospects, converting them into clients, and contributing to or leading German Public Sector RFP responses is required.
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills and German proficiency at C2 level are required.
